A - Yes I do ship worldwide but there is postage on orders outside the UK.
Q - Is wholesale available?
A - Yes, I do offer wholesale to shops. Please get in touch if you have any further questions about wholesale.
Q - Payment methods?
A - The website accepts all major credit/debit cards and Paypal. -
Q - Are your products made on Skye?
A - YES. All my products are made on Skye from my wee workshop in Sconser. Even the Skye Seaweed hats where hand knitted on the island by two lovely ladies.
Q - Are my products Vegan?
A - Mostly no. The only product that is vegan friendly is my Wild Seaweed Beard Oil. All my other products at the moment contain bees wax. The reason I do this is because bees wax acts as a natural preservative and helps to give my products their consistency without the need for chemical additives.
Q - Are your products tested on animals?
A - Absolutely not and never will be! When I am working on new products I get willing family and friends to help me out.
Q - Who makes the products?
A - I do (Ben), it is just me making the products at the moment but I do get help from time to time with labelling and posting products.
Q - Who came up with the products?
A - I created the formulations for all of Skye Seaweed’s products. -
Q – Do you need a licence to harvest seaweed?
A – Yes. If you want to harvest seaweed for commercial reasons you need a licence from Crown Estate Scotland.
Q - Where does your seaweed come from?
A - My seaweed is harvested by hand from select locations round Skye.
Q – How is your seaweed harvested?
A – My seaweed is harvested just using a pair of scissors.
